A teenager has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm and attempted robbery after a pensioner was stabbed at Thornton Heath rail station.
The 16-year-old, of Epping, was arrested following a police appeal last week.
A 70-year-old man was knifed while walking through the station just after 10pm, August 29.
He suffered hand injuries as he shielded himself from the weapon just after 10pm.
The teenager is set to appear at Croydon Youth Court on Thursday, September 16.
