The line-up for the 15th Kingston Carnival is almost complete and includes an eclectic mix of artist sure to make this year’s event the biggest yet.

On September 4 Guildford-based ska-punks The JB Conspiracy will kick off the main stage acts at 2:30pm.

The band have previously played Kingston in support of Reel Big Fish and The Specials man Neville Staple, who ‘headlined’ the Kingston Carnival that never was in 2014.

This year the band say they are bringing a special "carnival set" to the town centre.

North East four-piece Martha will bring indie rock tunes to carnival at 3:30. The band’s power-pop songs have a message of inclusiveness sure to fit in with carnival’s empowering communities theme.

Surrey Comet:

Chas Palmer-Williams, the former frontman of Derby ska punk legends Lightyear, will take to the stage as a solo act at 4:30pm.

Notting Hill Carnival staples The Heatwave will bring their mix of reggae, bashment, dancehall, mash-ups to the main market place stage at 5:30.

One more surprise artist will be announced next week.
