Could an evening get more bee-autiful than hanging out at Kew Gardens as the sun sets, the music plays and the cocktails flow?
The Royal Botanic Gardens is opening up for over 18s for The Hive Lates from 7pm to 10pm on September 1 and 15 with a range of bee inspired activities inside its award-winning The Hive installation.
After making their way through a wild flower meadow to Wolfgang Buttress’ 17 metre structure with its thousands of flickering lights, there will be the chance to roll candles using real beeswax, honey tasting and cocktail making, music, pollinator collages and screen printing with bee designs.
Food and drink will be available on the Orangery Terrace with a view of The Hive in a distance.
Tickets cost £20 or £16 for Friends of Kew. Advance booking only. Go to kew.org
