A vulnerable elderly man from Thornton Heath has been missing for more than 48 hours.

Gene Steve Crosby, 92, was last seen at his home in Parchmore Road, Thornton Heath at about 11.35am on Friday, July 29.

Mr Crosby has difficulty walking and is without his mobility scooter, walking frame and Freedom Pass.

Officers are concerned for his safety and wellbeing as he has never gone missing before.

Mr Crosby is described as white with a slim, frail build and wears glasses. It is not known what clothing he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

He is known to often visit the flower stall at Thornton Heath train station, and uses the train from East Croydon to Crawley.
