A burst water main in Wimbledon has flooded Kingston Road and parts of the A219.
Kingston Road is currently closed between Merton Road and Palmerston Road after a Thames Water pipe burst.
Merton High Street is also closed between Haydon's Road and Southey Road.
It comes as some residents in Tooting have reported a loss of water since about 11.45am.
Thames Water updated its website at 11.53am to say a repair was under way in SW19.
Affected postcodes include SW19, SW20, SW17, KT6, KT3 and CR4 where there is either no water or low pressure.

London Fire Brigade has said access to its Wimbledon station open day has also been affected.
Fire engines and firefighters are on the scene as are the Metropolitan Police.

According to Mario Jashari, the shops in the South Wimbledon area, including Tesco Express and Costa coffee, are flooded.
Bus route 152 is on diversion.

In Tooting, residents in Sellincourt Road and Chasefield Road have reported problems with water supply.
There are also reports from Florence Road, Effra Road and Morden South that there is no water.
Thames Water website shows the extent of the impact.
According to the Thames Water website, technicians are aware of leaks in Queen's Road, SW19, and Selkirk Road, SW17.
It is not yet clear whether the burst pipe is linked with any other water problems.
A spokesman from the Metropolitan Police said: "Cordons are in place around the Kingston Road and Southey Road area of A219.
"We were called at around 11.15am."

Joanna Cater said: "I live on Montague Road and I have no water, the whole street has no water.
"Kingston road is like a river. It's crazy."
Another resident in Montague Road has reported they have no power as well as no drinking water.
Nin Randhawa said: "I live on Russell Road; I was halfway through shaving this morning when the water suddenly stopped.
"Luckily there was a bottle of water in the fridge for me to finish and rinse the foam from my face."

A statement posted to the Thames Water website reads: "We apologise to customers in the SW19, SW20, SM4, KT3 and CR4 areas who are experiencing low pressure or no water.
"This is due to a burst water main on Kingston Road. Our teams are working hard to fix this and return your supplies back to normal as soon as possible.
"We're sorry for any inconvenience caused."

Flooding has spread to the A219, with the London Fire Brigade and police at the scene there too.
