Half a century after The Beatles’ last official live performance in London, fans will come together in a celebration at a pub with a connection to the Fab Four.

The third annual Beatles Day in Twickenham will feature five bands playing live music from 11am to 8pm on May 1.

Special guests include the former CEO of the Beatles’ label Apple Records, Tony Bramwell, as well as Apple secretaries Jeni Crowley and Viv Jones.

It all takes place at the Turk’s Head, which featured in the film A Hard Day’s Night.

A raffle will raise money for charities Hounslow Animal Welfare Society and Me Too & Co.
