BREAKING: Second major incident as man stabbed five minutes later in Tooting High Street.
Tooting High Street was closed this afternoon after a man was hit by a car, Transport for London has announced.
The High Street was closed between Garratt Lane and Selkirk Road, but it re-opened at around 4.30pm.
One witness said an ambulance has left the area but that four police cars still remain following an incident involving a car and a pedestrian.
The car, a Toyota, has a "smashed" windscreen according to a second witness.
According to Wandsworth police the injuries are not believed to be "life threatening or life changing".
