A car has caught on fire after it crashed into parked cars along a busy road this afternoon.
The car crashed in Mitcham Road near to Rochford Way, on the border between Mitcham and Croydon, just before 4.10pm this afternoon.
Transport for London tweeted to warn that the road was blocked in both ways due to a vehicle fire.
In Mitcham - A236 Mitcham Road, nr Rochford Way - The road is blocked both ways due to a Vehicle Fire. Expect delays.

The fire brigade, ambulance services and police were all in Mitcham Road at about 5pm.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: "A car was in collision with parked cars.
"There are no details of injuries at the moment.
"The road is closed."
A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 4.07pm to reports of a road traffic collision on Mitcham Road.
"We sent a single responder in a car and an ambulance crew to the scene."
