The mayor of Merton, Councillor David Chung was on hand to unveil the fifth branch of an estate agents with a glass of bubbly.
He was joined by mayoress Irina Chung at the event on Tuesday, March 1, to officially toast the opening of Ellisons in Collliers Wood High Street.
Denise Wheatley, Ellisons' operations director said: "It was well attended by neighbours and clients."
About 50 people including clients, local councillors, staff and friends went along for a glass of Champagne and some canapes.
It opened for business on Saturday, February 27.
The site is near to the controversial re-development of the Donald Hope Library, where plans to call the building Wimbledon Reach sparked a petition from neighbours to recognise its position in Colliers Wood.
