Today is World Cancer Day, an event that began in 2006 with the aim of raising awareness of the disease across the world.
To mark the 10th anniversary of the campaign, the Royal Marsden is live-tweeting a 'day in the life' at the hospital to give an "insight into the work we do to treat and care for our patients every day".
Follow @royalmarsden on Twitter or searching the hashtag #TRMLife to keep up with what is going on at the hospital throughout the day.
The Royal Marsden became the first hospital in the world dedicated to treating cancer when it opened in 1851.
