Hampton Court Festival is set to return in 2016 and the names of the first six concert headliners have been revealed.
George Benson, Van Morrison, Anastacia, Caro Emerald, Jools Holland and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will all perform in Henry VIII’s open air courtyard at the festival, from June 8 to 18.
Ten-time Grammy winner Benson, who plays on June 18, said: “I'm looking forward to returning to Hampton Court Palace Festival. It is one of the most beautiful venues I have performed at in the world and I’m thrilled that I can perform there again this summer."
Anastacia will be making her debut at the festival on June 9. She said: “I’m truly honoured to be performing at Hampton Court Palace Festival this year, a venue with such incredible heritage. What a great start to the summer!”
