Police will engage emergency powers to disperse groups of two or more in Tolworth, Chessington and the Epsom border this weekend after persistent anti-social behaviour and a knifepoint robbery.
The order covers parts of Tolworth, Chessington and Ewell
Groups of two or more could be broken up and unaccompanied children taken home by police after the emergency dispersal order was put in place until 6.30pm on Sunday.
The order has to be enforced by a police superintendent who believes “members of the public have been intimidated, harassed, alarmed or distressed in public places and that anti-social behaviour is significant and a persistent problem in that area."

It gives police the power to disperse groups of two or more people in areas where there is persistent anti-social behaviour.
They can also take home any young person who is not with an adult and on the streets in a dispersal zone between 9pm and 6am.
Epsom and Ewell police said the order had been enforced after recent anti-social behaviour problems and a knife-point robbery last weekend in Hogsmill Way.
