Maverick concert pianist James Rhodes will share his candid and sometimes harrowing story with an audience in Kingston.
The Rose Theatre will host an evening of performance and discussion on Thursday, November 5.
Rhodes, whose critically acclaimed music shuns the austerity and ceremony of traditional classical music, was severely affected by abuse he suffered as a child and later chronicled in his controversial memoir, Instrumental.
After the event, Rhodes will sign copies of the book. Tickets cost £13 to £19.50. Go to rosetheatrekingston.org
