Battle croquet players and tea duellers took over a New Malden pub at the weekend for the Surrey Steampunk Convivial.
Organisers Ben and Tixia Henderson wanted the festival to feel "as if a circus has crash landed on a fancy dress wedding day".
Kingston mayor Roy Arora kicked off one of the highlights of the weekend - the tea duelling competition.

During the games competitors battled it out to win the Nonsuch Ashes - the burnt remains of the tea bags from previous duels.

This was the fourth time the Victorian inspired festival took place in the Royal Oak in Coombe Road and it was the first time it had been held in the summer months.
Some tea duelling gets underway
Royal Oak general manager Luke Pullen said: "It was absolutely fantastic. Ben organises an amazing Steampunk event and absolutely surpassed himself this time.
"It was even wackier this time. Everyone wants to be dressed up in their amazing costumes but the hot weather was a bit difficult for them.
"The Battle Croquet that went on in the garden was one of the highlights.
"But the best thing about the day is seeing the faces of other customers who don’t know what’s going on."
