Are you brave enough to sleep over at a historic – and quite possibly haunted – palace?
Hampton Court Palace is giving people the chance to stay over on Saturday, September 26, and there will be all kinds of characters from the past to meet.
People staying will travel back to 1515 and back up to date through a historically-inspired dinner, entertainment, tours and breakfast. Entry for the palace for Sunday is also included.
Sleeping is communal on the floor of the Cartoon Gallery with a sleeping mat (and earplugs) provided, though you’ll want to bring your own PJs and sleeping equipment such as sleeping bags, airbeds and the like.
Historical costumes are encouraged.
Dusk ‘til Dawn at Hampton Court Palace is from 6.30pm on Saturday, September 26, to 10am on Sunday, September 27. Tickets cost £140. Go to hrp.org.uk
