West Street will be closed for the rest of the week due to roadworks.
Roadworks will be carried on West Street out until Sunday, August 30, which will force drivers to use diversion routes.
It is understood that the roadworks, which started this morning, main purpose is to resurface the road.
resurfacing and the installation of a pelican crossing outside of St Mary's School.
Diversion routes in place are: Southbound: Wrythe Green Road, Green Wrythe Lane, North Street and Pound Street.
Northbound: Pound Street, North Street and Green Wrythe Lane, Wrythe Green Road and West Street.
Access to homes along West Street will be maintained during the roadworks.
