Staff from the Royal Bank of Scotland in Croydon had cause for celebration recently, when their new modern branch was finally unveiled to them.
The branch, formerly situated in Park Street, was relocated to North End following the approval of the Park Place compulsory purchase order earlier this year.
In addition to the new premises, the branch has announced it will extend its opening hours by introducing Saturday banking from, opening for business between 10am and 2pm with a full counter service.
Irene Mills, branch manager, RBS Croydon, said: "We are always aiming to enhance the level of service our customers receive and this includes providing easier and more convenient access to their branches. While our customers have access to 24-hour phone and internet banking, we also know how important it is that they continue to receive personal, face to face contact."
