Sunday morning traffic in Sutton and Croydon was held up while police escorted a 58m long lorry from the M25.
The abnormal load weighs in at 290 tonnes, is 5.15m wide and has 152 tyres.
Metropolitan Police officers started guiding the huge vehicle from Clacket Lane services at 6am.
It took four hours for the lorry and its entourage to make the 17 mile journey to Beddington Lane, Sutton.
