Volunteers are needed to help clean the River Quaggy in Sutcliffe Park on May 13 between 10am and noon.
The park acts as a natural flood plain, helping to reduce the risk of flooding to more than 600 homes and businesses along the River Quaggy in Greenwich and Lewisham.
The work is being organised by the Friends of Sutcliffe Park. Volunteers can meet at the park entrance in Eltham Road, Eltham.
