A 37-year-old man has been remanded in custody following a hit-and-run accident in Epsom High Street.
Paul Morgan, of no fixed abode, was charged at Staines police station yesterday with grievous bodily harm with intent, two offences of common assault, dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, driving with no insurance, three offences of theft and one of possession of a Class A drug.
He is due to appear before South East Surrey Magistrates' Court today.
A 14-year-old boy was taken to hospital after being hit by a car as he used a pedestrian crossing in Epsom High Street on Monday about 3.20pm.
A 65-year-old man was also injured.
