Tooting & Mitcham's speedy winger Ronnie Green has labelled himself a greedy boy as his side embark on a season-defining week.

The Terrors faced Metropolitan Police in the Surrey Senior Cup final last night, take on Bromley in the London Senior Cup final tomorrow (Thursday) and visit Ashford Town on Saturday in the final game of the league campaign that could see them secure the Ryman Division One South title and automatic promotion.

Despite the prospect of three of their biggest games of the season in the space of five days, the 24-year-old declared his side were up for the challenge.

"This is what it's all about," he said. "We can't mess up now.

"It doesn't matter how hard we have worked this season - if we don't achieve anything, it will all be for nothing.

"Three games in five days is a tough task but it certainly isn't a burden.

"I am a greedy boy and want to win it all. I have had some big weeks in my non-league career, but this week is up there as one of the biggest.

"We don't want to get carried away, though."

Green scored the only goal as Billy Smith's Terrors beat Godalming Town on Saturday to go level with leaders Maidstone United with one game left.

Maidstone were in the box seat with a game in hand, against Ashford Town last night.

Green said his team-mates had not given up hope of securing that all-important top spot.

"We don't want the play-offs because we know from history that teams who finish in the last spot tend to win it," he said. "We haven't given up. Stranger things have happened.

"I don't think we are playing to our full potential at the moment, and a large part of that is down to fatigue.

"It has been a long season and it may be catching up with us but we will battle on."
