TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate new electrical connections they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian traffic movements in Church Street, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall proceed along the public footway which lies on the south-west side of the north-west to south-east arm of Church Street between its junctions with Old Palace Road and the north-east to south-west arm of Church Street.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for pedestrians will be via the opposite footway.

4. The Order will come into operation on the 30 April 2007 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 4 days over 2 weekends. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
(Pedestrian access will only be maintained via the opposite footway)
