Detectives have released CCTV images of a man wanted in connection with a knife-point robbery of an off licence.

Police said the man walked in to the Wine Rack shop in Waterhouse Lane, Tadworth, about 8.30pm on Sunday before marching behind the shop counter brandishing a knife and ordering the shop assistant to move out of the way.

He then opened the till and grabbed some money.

Police said a witness saw him then head towards Kingswood railway station.

Detective Constable David Fair said the man was described as white, aged about 35 years old, 5ft 7in tall with short, dark, brown hair, clean shaven and wearing a dark-coloured jacket and jogging bottoms.

"We need to find the man responsible for this robbery," he said.

"I am appealing for people to look closely at the CCTV images and if you think you recognise him, please get in touch."
