The newly-formed Surrey Police Band is looking to recruit some new musicians to join them on the beat.
At present, the 40-strong traditional band consists of volunteers, but is now searching for trombone, French horn, trumpet, oboe, clarinet and percussion experts.
PC Geoff Nichols said: "We have received requests to play at events in Surrey and there have even been invitations to play at ceremonies in Belgium and Holland.
"We just need a few more members so we can start performing and making the most of exciting opportunities like these."
Rehearsals are every Thursday evening, for more information call 0845 125 2222.
