Old people suffering from dementia should be given electronic tags similar to those worn by some criminals, according to a Government minister.

I think Malcolm Wicks makes a good point. My Grandma had dementia and would often wander off which was very worrying for our family and very upsetting for her.
He is not suggesting that people be tagged like criminals but that families - and those suffering from dementia themselves- have piece of mind.
