An elderly woman from Sutton has died after a serious car accident on Friday.
Joan Pollard, 77, died after the Fiat Punto which she was travelling in collided with a Jaguar on the A217 at the junction of Mill Road, near Tadworth at 9.25am on April 20.
The A217 was closed for several hours and reopened at 1.30pm.
A man is being treated in hospital where his condition is described as serious'.
Surrey Police is appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to contact Collision Investigation Unit on 01932 569922.
