Detectives today appealed for witnesses to a vicious attack on a KFC customer.
The victim, a 34-year-old man, suffered serious wounds when he was punched and hit with a broken bottle by two men after leaving the fast-food restaurant in London Road, West Croydon.
He returned to KFC and was treated by staff until paramedics arrived and took him to hospital.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said the victim suffered "a number of serious cuts to his head".
The attack happened at about 10.40pm on February 8 as he walked back to his car with his food.
