Tooting-based Bec and rivals Trojans of Croydon will do battle this weekend for the English national korfball title.

Bec finished top of the England korfball league, but Trojans are the reigning champions after beating Bec 18-17 last season.

The semi-finals will be played at the Whitgift Centre in South Croydon on Saturday with Trojans taking on Kent side KV (3pm) and Bec facing Kingfisher, also based in Kent (4.30pm).

The final to decide the national champions will be held on the Sunday.

At the same event, the England Korfball League promotion/relegation play-offs will be played, with Croydon included in a five-team group.

Their opponents will be Manchester Warriors, Bristol Thunder and two Kent sides, Tornadoes and Bearsted.
