Rag week at one Surbiton school took a little inspiration from the Australian jungle as students put on I’m a Southborough Teacher...Get Me Outta Here.
Adventurous teachers played along in the name of charity taking on challenges such as eating raw onions, fish, whole lemons and hot chillies in their own bush tucker trials.
Other events in the sixth form-run charity week before the end of term included a fancy dress fun run, a talent show dubbed the S Factor and daily bake sales alongside mugs of marshmallow hot chocolate.
Students managed to raise a record total of £2,000 that will be shared between the Children’s Trust in Tadworth and the Ronald McDonald House Charity.
