A controversial red card for Molesey keeper Chuck Martini on Saturday left attacking midfielder Jay Richardson to fill in for the Moroccan.
The eccentric shot-stopper, who also takes penalties for the Moles, saw red for handling outside the box 60 minutes into a 3-1 defeat to Fleet Town.
Martini said: "I was bewildered at the decision.
"A park referee could see it wasn't a sending-off."
With no substitute keeper, it was left to Richardson to deputise. And he was beaten only once, by Jermaine Hamilton after 65 minutes.
Chris Wales scored a late consolation goal for the Moles.
