A 70-year-old man has been rushed to Kingston Hospital after crashing into the Hinchley Wood roundabout.
Firefighters had to cut the man free from the wreckage of his car after the crash at 1pm today.
Eyewitness Rishi Patel who passed the scene of the accident said: "It looked really bad. It took them an hour, hour and a half, to get him out."
It is not clear at the moment what condition the man is in but a spokeswoman for Surrey Ambulance Service said the case was being treated as a priority by the hospital.
