Richmond residents are to pay different amounts to park their cars dependent on carbon emissions after the proposal was rubber-stamped this afternoon.

Why do car owners think that they should have free parking on the road ?
All road parking should be charged for, and the money used to provide safer footpaths for the majority.
On another note, why are parents nowadays a taxi service for their children.
When I was young in the fifties, I had to either walk or use my bike for my school and social activities.
