Missing schoolgirl Sindy-Ann Regis has made contact with her relieved mum.
Eastlyn Regis said her daughter called her mobile phone on Sunday, saying she was OK but refusing to say where she was.
Sindy-Ann, 15, went missing on Thursday, March 8, when she left her Tulse Hill home to make her own way to Norwood Girls School.
Police said then that Sindy-Ann had never gone missing before and they and her family were extremely worried about her.
They appealed for information from the public, believing she may be staying with a friend in the Battersea area.
Mum-of-five Mrs Regis said she was relieved to hear from her missing daughter and hopes she returns home soon.
"On Sunday around 2.30pm I got a call," Mrs Regis said.
"I was just coming out of church. It was Sindy-Ann.
"I was overjoyed just to hear her voice. She was saying she was comfortable and all right.
"I said I love, love you and I miss you'.
"She broke down in tears. I tried to find out where she is. She didn't say where she is.
"She said I'm fine mummy, I'm all right'."
Mrs Regis said she just wants Sindy-Ann to come home.
"She wanted to talk," Mrs Regis said. "I just pray she calls again."
