A pupil at a Croydon school was knocked for six last week when he collected first prize in a cricket competition.
Twelve-year-old Kwame Miller, of Cumnor House School in South Croydon, took part in the nationwide Cricket Gear for Schools competition organised by the St Lucia Tourist Board.
His cricket t-shirt design bowled the competition judges over and he was given a cricket bat signed by the West Indies squad.
In addition, Kwame's school won £500 of cricket equipment, while fellow pupils picked up goody bags.
