Congratulations to Sutton Council for trying to put right the traffic calming measures in Woodmansterne Road and, on this occasion, undertaking a consultation with affected residents.
However, can any reader tell me where there is a mini-roundabout at a T junction immediately outside a private driveway making access both difficult and more importantly unsafe?
This is what is proposed at the end of Wellfield Gardens right opposite my driveway. Surely one mini roundabout at the end of Beeches Walk, only 22 yards away (the length of a cricket pitch), will have the desired calming effect.
