How dare Ray Horry write the fabrications he had printed in the Guardian, March 1. Nonsuch Mansion is used, (or was until Surrey County Council decided it was unnecessary), is beautiful and has a superb museum formed and kept completely by volunteers.

The 300 acres are not wasteland. The mansion gardens are beautiful and kept so by diligent gardeners and it is a tranquil place to visit with many memorial seats to use.

The surrounding land, plus Cherry Orchard and the adjoining Warren Farm is a wonderful wildlife haven with SSSI status and some rare visitors.

Families can be seen at all times, as are, runners, dog owners etc and it is a very good place to visit as shown by the thousands of visitors 365 days a year.
