What a sell out by the Liberal Democrats to the elderly living in the Royal Borough of Kingston.
Now they are threatened by the closure of either Newent Day Centre or Hobkirk Day Centre.
One hopes these councillors will remember that it was these same people that fended off an invasion from Hitler's tyrannical Nazi regime.
They lost loved ones in the fighting and they suffered from food shortages and bombings.
Is this really the way to treat these people who no longer have a voice?
All because these councillors have mismanaged the revenue from our high council tax.
As holders of the award of Investors in People, doesn't the council now recognise the elderly as people any more?
Shame on the councillors of the Royal Borough of Kingston.
