I have been given to understand that, if I go to several Lambeth Council-funded Lambeth College classes, I am only worth one subsidy.
This means that, if three separate people used my three separate places in three different classes, there would be three subsidies for that college, instead of just the one. Totally unfair to colleges? What do others think?
On the same subject - how can more individuals be attracted to classes? I consider myself to be a good networker and I cannot come up with any new ideas to try. Lambeth Colleges advertise widely and information is available from libraries.
The colleges are helpful if someone comes through the door and asks questions. So, while I would have liked Lambeth funding department to take into consideration that we may be entitled to take more than, say, one class a week, the funding should be put up again to being per class and not per person. Ideas are wanted as to how to attract more students.
