I write with regards the letters page and recent correspondence to St. Peter's Hospital and public transport accessibility.

I can contribute the following to which people need be aware.

I work in the bus industry and can advise people of the following.

St Peter's, yes, is pretty much in the middle of nowhere.

However, Mondays-Saturdays there are at least reasonable bus services from Staines/Chertsey areas which provide options:- p 557 Heathrow Airport-Stanwell-Chertsey to St Peter's-Addlestone p 451/461 Staines-Chertsey-Addlestone-Walton-Kingston p Peterbus minibus services serving local villages Monday to Friday.

p Free Hoppa bus from Monday to Friday between Ashford Hospital and St Peter's Hospital run by the NHS.

National Express have even gone to the trouble of diverting RailAir' express coaches during the evenings between Heathrow terminals and Woking Railway Station.

On Sundays there is the 446 operated by Surrey Connect/Flights Hallmark between Staines and Woking (limited frequency).

I am amazed at people (also in the Heathrow Villager) reporting that there are no buses to St Peter's Hospital which is clearly not the case.
