AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
SLIP ROAD FRONTING NOS.3 TO 45
GRAVEL HILL, SOUTH CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works in connection with the provision of an at grade crossing in Gravel Hill they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in the slip road fronting Nos.3 to 45 Gravel Hill.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in that section of the slip road fronting Nos.3 to 45 Gravel Hill, which lies opposite No.39 Gravel Hill and forms the north-western egress from the slip road into the main north-westbound carriageway of Gravel Hill.
3. Whilst the said works are taking place the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via the south-eastern egress from the slip road fronting Nos.3 to 45 Gravel Hill into the main north-westbound carriageway of Gravel Hill which lies opposite No.3 Gravel Hill.
4. The Order will come into operation on 12 March 2007 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 6 weeks. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
