CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984,

AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
PAWSONS ROAD, CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PEDESTRIAN
AND VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works on the footway for the Queens Gate development they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian movements and to restrict vehicular traffic movements in Pawsons Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
(a) no person shall proceed along the public footway which lies on the north-west side of Pawsons Road, between its junction with Queens Road and Lion Road;
(b) no person shall proceed along the public footway which lies on the south-east side of Pawsons Road, between its junction with Queens Road and Lion Road;
(c) temporary waiting and loading restrictions will be introduced 'At any time' throughout the length of the public footway closures.

3. Whilst the said works are taking place on a rolling programme the alternative route for pedestrians will be via the opposite footway.

4. The Order will come into operation on 12 March 2007 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 12 months. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. (Pedestrian access will be maintained via the opposite footway)
