Two men have been charged with robbery following a car crash in Croydon.
The two suspects are believed to have crashed into the central reservation in Gravel Hill at around 11.20am last Thursday.
Police arrested them after a security guard was allegedly robbed and assaulted outside Halifax Building Society in Purley High Street.
Herbert Bobby, 45, and 39-year-old Winston Eubank, both of no fixed abode, were charged with robbery and failing to supply a urine sample.
Eubank was also charged with a further offence of assault when the pair appeared before Tower Bridge magistrates on Friday. The men were remanded in custody.
