It was only a matter of time before it happened - graffiti on the new Coulsdon bypass bridge.
The brickwork has been extremely well done with quality coloured bricks - now to be spoiled by these vandals that blight our city centres.
Can nothing be done to stop them? Of course the complete absence of police on our streets doesn't help and if they are caught there is no punishment with our pathetic justice system.
If they were made to clean it off (in orange overalls) it might help, but I suppose that would be breaching their human rights.
If a fine is imposed it won't be paid and community service seems to be a farce.
We just have to accept with a shrug of our shoulders saying what can you do?' Nothing presumably. A truly dreadful situation.
