I am writing to highlight my concerns regarding the crossing in Hackbridge near Hackbridge Primary School.
It is very dangerous especially during rain and winter months, when drivers cannot see people crossing the road after dark and in the rain.
It is not a usual crossing and does not have lights on either side to warn the drivers. Neither does it have zebra crossing white line marks on the road, so pedestrians are left at the mercy of drivers.
I pick up my daughter from an after-school club and I carry my two-year-old with me. I have found it extremely dangerous to cross the road.
I am not sure, after so many concerns have been raised, why this crossing has not been converted into a normal zebra crossing for the sake of the children.
