A street fight, believed to have been between two groups of young men, has left a pair of 19-year-olds in hospital with stab wounds.

The brawl broke out at around 6am today, Saturday, November 29, outside the KFC restaurant in Central Road, Worcester Park, and spilled down the high street to a bus stop outside the railway station.

Both the restaurant and the bus stop have been cordoned off with police tape.

One witness at the scene said blood is scattered on the ground and an abandoned medical kit can still be seen on the floor outside the KFC.

Two 19-year-old men, both suffering stab wounds to the legs, were taken to a south London hospital where their conditions are being described by the Metropolitian Police as stable.

Met police has said that no arrests have been made at this stage although it is understood they are preparing to release a witness appeal shortly.
