As Labour's spokesperson on animal welfare I have just tabled a written declaration in the European Parliament, calling for a ban on bull fighting.
I also want an end to the anomaly, whereby some European farm subsidies find their way into the pockets of farmers rearing bulls for slaughter. The League Against Cruel Sports and other charities are backing this campaign but it needs your members of the European Parliament to act. I urge you to ask them to sign my written declaration, number 0002/2007.
