The teenager charged with carrying out a knife attack against a 15-year-old boy on the 151 bus in Rosehill, Sutton, appeared before Croydon Magistrates Court on Tuesday, November 11, denying his role in the assault.
The accused, aged 16, is now due to appear before Croydon Crown Court on Tuesday, November 25, facing charges of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and carrying an offensive weapon.
He has been released on bail.
The victim, 15-year-old Eddie, was said to have been stabbed up to nine times before collapsing outside a parade of shops following the daylight attack.
Eddie, was taken to a resuscitation unit at St Helier Hospital with life-threatening injuries following the brutal attack at about 2.30pm on Friday, October 24, on a 151 bus. He was only considered well enough to be released late on Tuesday, October 28.
According to early reports a fight broke out on the 151 bus, before Eddie staggered off at the Rose Hill roundabout and before collapsing outside KFC.
