Detectives investigating the stabbing of a 24-year-old man in Cedars Avenue, Mitcham have made two arrests.
Two men, aged 19-years-old and 39-years-old, have been arrested and bailed while the police carry out further enquiries.
The 24-year-old victim is described as being in a stable condition after being stabbed in the head on Monday, September 15.
He was taken to hospital.
A police spokesman said yesterday a 19-year-old man was arrested the day after the stabbing.
He has been bailed to a west London police station in mid November to allow for further enquiries.
A 39-year-old man was arrested later that week on Thursday, September 18.
He has also been bailed to a west London police station until a date in mid December while further enquiries are carried out.
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 2.14am on Monday, September 15 to Cedars Avenue, Mitcham to reports a man was found suffering from a stab wound.
Officers from Merton continue to investigate.
