Three men tried to evade police capture, following an alleged racist assault, by climbing on to a roof in Clapham.
A 30-year-old man was approached by a group of men in North Street, just after 11pm, on Sunday.
The men allegedly made racist comments to him and chased him into a pizza restaurant.
A disturbance took place, with staff members from the shop intervening, and police were called.
Three men allegedly tried to evade capture by climbing on to a roof of a property in nearby Broadhinton Road.
All three suspects are currently in custody at a south London police station.
London Ambulance Service attended and four people were taken to hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.
