More than five thousand pounds was raised as youngsters dodged rain showers to put on a show for parents at the fair.
South Park Gardens in Wimbledon hosted the Holy Trinity CofE School fair on Saturday, June 28, collecting five and a half thousand pounds in sales and donations.
The funds will go towards new outdoor play equipment and astro-turf for the school in Effra Road. Youngsters in the school choir sang their hearts out despite a sudden downpour in an otherwise sunny afternoon.
Kirsty Warwick, co-chair of the Parent and Teachers Association said: 'We really enjoy holding the fair in South Park Gardens and being part of the community.
'A lot more people came along this time.
'Everyone was really pleased with how it went.'
At the fair there were stalls selling jewellery, lucky dip and refreshments.
Visitors included the former mayor of Merton Krystal Miller and MP Stephen Hammond.
At last year's event, the school raised six and a half thousand pounds.
